Leeds and Liverpool Canal Page

I am Founder and President of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal Society. I also edit the Society's newsletter, Clogs and Gansey, to which there is an index to which copies up to 2005 are linked.

You can download a pdf file about the unique traditional boat painting found on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, and copies of contemporary articles about canal promotion and other subjects are also available.

As a result of over forty years researching the canal's history, I have the largest digital archive of material related to the canal, with copies of many historical committee minutes, maps, reports and letters related to the canal.
